ECONOMIC MODEL


Kaj Kjær Flora & Fauna is a foundation based on fair trade commerce to the benefit of Earth.

 

  • We are not a charity, nor an NGO. Our stakeholders are nature.

  • Commercial entities can buy in and out. We value and prefer long-term thinking and investments. Our principle is, that even if the investment does not make short term financial gain, as in quarterly reports, we will still decide based on a long-term macro ECOlogic=ECOnomic view. KKFF is the rear! We’re picking up the pieces!

  • Our goal is to create a sustainable environment with nature as the leverage towards an ecological as well as economic benefit to our stakeholders. 

  • Our ambition is to inspire others to cooperate and invest with a focus on a sustainable approach for the imminent and imperative correction of the current imbalance between ECOlogy and ECOnomy. 

  • Our economic model is scalable and can be applied with modifications anywhere on Earth.

  • In our areas in North Jutland (Nordjylland), our intention is to contribute to a sustainable environment with nature towards eco-friendly tourism as an economic driver for the local population, based on our economic model.

  • Our economic model is based on the concept of Novel Nature (Henrik Vejre), where funds from commercial real estate activities, are funnelled into nature projects.



Kaj Kjær Flora & Fauna’s economy is based on the founding capital and recurring income from yield on the foundation’s assets. Our economic model profits from investments in nature (Real estate). As where the resource and current economic/ecologic models are not sufficient in comparison to the challeng­es the world is facing regarding the current climate adjustment and biodiversity crisis.  

I.e. having farmland which is only eco­nomically worthwhile because of subsidies, which creates a fake economy where agriculture is a parasite on the economy and destructive to nature.  

We cooperate with administrative bodies and commercial parties. We see it as our obligation to enhance a sustainable local economy, entwined with indigenous cultural values, and resources wherever we operate.  

In our nature areas, in North Jutland, we cooperate with the Municipality of Jammerbugt, The Danish Nature Agency, the Municipality of Brønderslev, local schools and tourism organizations. We do not exclude potential partners based on their current operations or beliefs. We will include all interested partners in our projects to share our knowledge vision and endeavours to reach the overall purpose of Novel Nature. 

1. INVESTMENT

We invest in real estate: buildings, lots, surrounding areas – agricultural as well as commercial

2. VALUE INCREASES

By investing in nature we increase the ecological values, thereby the local settings and natural ressources, which benefit the value of the built and investment projects, generating profit

3. EXTERNAL INVESTMENTS

We invite external shareholders from all over the world to invest in our projects

4. PROFIT DISTRIBUTION

The profits from real estate (summerhouse rental, camp sites and hotels) are distributed to shareholders and KKFF continues to invest our share in new real estate

5. EXPANSION

Our economic model is scalable and can be applied with modifications anywhere on Earth
